A folding roof was designed to cover the entrances to underground stations which could be lowered after operating hours. The tunnel shells were left partially uncovered to make space for information displays, safety equipment and other fixtures. The tunnel walls opposite the platform act as a projection surface for information, advertising and video artwork. For elevated stations, we proposed modifications to the track support structures that would allow for a tubular platform hall with protective overhangs to shelter the platforms.
